Gabriella Cilmi - Sweet About Me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvuyYj5ROmk&ob=av2e

This is a close up shot of the artist picking up their microphone. The use of neutral colours are used throughout the video.

This is a good shot as its at a strange angle, it introduces the artist as well as starting the song.

This medium shot shows everyone in the band, introducing them all. The main focus is the drum in the centre of the shot. Everyone around is framing the drums.

This shot also uses a different angle. The camera rotates around the person wrapped up in rope and then the man end up the right way round.

This shot uses depth of field, the focus is on her legs and the figure in the background is out of focus. They use a focus pull to change this which then switches the focus onto the man in the background.

This shot uses the 180 rule. You can still see the artist singing however the other person in the shot is still the main focus of the shot.

Here is a close up shot of the guitarist strumming his guitar. There are some other close up shots through the video of the instruments.

This is a long shot of the location where the video is shot. It shows all of the props that are used in the video and gives you a clear view of the man tied up, hanging upside down.

I like this shot as you can see a figure there but not very clearly. The gates to the lift are slightly camouflaging the man behind. This shows the neutral colour scheme which runs through the video quite well.

This final shot is a close up of the rope that is holding the man upside down. The main artist then goes and cuts the rope so that the man falls down.
